What is LifeExperiences.ca?
LifeExperiences.ca is an experiential gift card company that launched in 2003. We are a one-stop shop for your unique gift-giving needs. We offer hundreds of experiences across Canada, all listed here on our website for your convenience!

Exchanges

Can I exchange my LifeExperiences card or Egift card for another package that you have listed on your website?

ABSOLUTELY!

You can certainly apply the value of your gift cards or certificates towards any of the other packages that we have listed on our website.

Simply select the desired package and click “Add To Cart”.  On the first step of checkout, click the circle that indicates “Pay with gift card/certificate” and enter your gift card number and pin into the field.  Click “Apply” to save this information and then click “Continue”. The value of your card/certificate will be applied to your purchase.  Once you have completed the order, you will be emailed a PDF certificate for the new experience you selected. Please ensure you present your NEW gift certificate to the experience provider, as your original card/certificate will no longer be valid.  

 **Please note that a 10% fee may apply for certificates/cards that need to be manually replaced. 

 Purchasing 

Where can I buy LifeExperiences?
You can purchase LifeExperiences from our website. All web purchases will arrive in the form of a certificate, which will be emailed to you right away.
You can also purchase LifeExperiences gift cards at select grocery and drugs stores across Canada including Shoppers Drug Mart.

LifeExperiences gift cards and certifiicates are also offered by various loyalty and reward programs.

I have a LifeExperiences ($50, $100, $200) cash certificate/ gift card, how do I use it to make a purchase on your site?
Your LifeExperiences cash certificates are valid for online purchases on our website. Once you’ve selected the experience that you’d like to use your certificate towards, just click “Buy Now” and proceed through the check out process. On the first step of checkout, click to check the box where asked "Use a coupon or Life Experiences gift card", and a field will appear for you to enter input your gift card or certificate numbers and PINs (please leave coupon blank). After entering your certificate number and PIN in, please be sure to wait a moment for the system to deduct the value of your certificate from your total and click “save" before continuing. Should your total come out to more than the value of your certificate, you will be asked for your credit card information to be charged the balance. Once the order has been completed and submitted, we will transfer the value of your current certificate onto a new gift certificate that is specific to the new experience you have chosen, which will be emailed to you in PDF form. Please ensure you bring in your new gift certificate to the gift experience provider, as your old certificate will hold a balance of $0. 

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa and Mastercard payments on our website - in order to combat fraud, we also require our consumers to enter in their full billing address during the check out process. We also accept payment in the form of LifeExperiences Access Gift Cards.

Is my credit card information secure?
All information that is input into our website is processed through a secure server and is encrypted using SSL (secure server software) with HTTPS (Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure) communication.

Do I need to select a date for booking when making a purchase?
As our certificates are usually purchased and given as gifts, you do not need to select a date for booking when making a purchase from our website. Once you receive the certificate, you or the gift recipient will need to contact the Experience Provider directly in order to book. 

Are there any restrictions on LifeExperiences?
Some of our adventure packages do have restrictions and limitations (i.e. age, weight, height limits) for safety reasons. Overnight packages may have black out dates in place. Any restrictions will be stated in the Terms & Conditions portion of the offer page.

Delivery

How are LifeExperiences delivered?
Your LifeExperiences certificates can be delivered directly to the gift recipient’s inbox, or to your own. All experiences purchased online will come in the form of an e-certificate. Within moments of submitting your order, you will receive 2 emails. One will be a transaction receipt of your order for your records and the other will contain a PDF attachment of your e-certificate. You will then have the choice of opening it up and printing it off to present to the gift recipient in person, or you can forward them the attachment.
If you or the gift recipient do not receive the emailed gift certificate within 10 minutes of submitting the order, please make sure to check your junk mail and spam folders.
**Please note that it is the responsibility of the purchaser to provide the correct email address for delivery during check out. 

I never received my gift certificate, can it be resent?
If you or the gift recipient do not receive the emailed gift certificate within 10 minutes of submitting the order, please make sure to check your junk mail and spam folders.
If the email cannot be found in either of these folders, please contact us through our online contact form, at LifeExperienceInfo@blackhawk-net.com, or 1-888-987-2622 with your Order ID #, and we can certainly resend it to you.

I’m purchasing a LifeExperience as a last minute gift – will it reach me in time?

Booking

I’ve received a LifeExperiences certificate, how do I book a date?
You will need to contact the Experience provider directly in order to book. The contact information for the Experience provider can be found on your certificate. Simply give them a call and mention that you have a LifeExperiences certificate, and they’ll take care of you from there!

Do I need to select a date for booking when making a purchase?

Expiry Dates

Does my LifeExperiences card/certificate expire?
LifeExperiences gift cards and ALL ACCESS certificates do not expire. Certificates for specific experiences expire 2 years from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated on our website or by provincial law. If you’d like to inquire about the specific expiry date on a LifeExperiences card or certificate in your possession, you can contact us through our online contact form, at LifeExperienceInfo@blackhawk-net.com or 1-888-987-2622. Please ensure that you provide us with your card or certificate ID # in your correspondence.

Can you extend the expiry date on my LifeExperiences card/certificate?
Expiry extensions are offered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us through our online contact form or at 1-888-987-2622 and provide us with your card or certificate ID # for specific expiry extension inquiries. 

**Please note that a 10% fee may apply for certificates/cards that have deactivated and need to be replaced 

Returns

I received a LifeExperience certificate for an Experience that I’m not interested in. Can I get a refund?
Unfortunately, all LifeExperience sales are final and we do not provide refunds.

Can I exchange my LifeExperience certificate for another package that you have listed on your website?
Absolutely! You can use the value of your certificate towards the purchase of any of the experiences we have listed. Once you've selected the new package you'd like to put the value of your certificate towards, click "Buy Now" and add it to your shopping cart, and proceed through the check out process. On the first step of checkout, click to check the box where asked "Use a coupon or Life Experiences gift card", and a field will appear for you to enter input your gift card or certificate numbers and PINs (please leave coupon blank). Please ensure you wait until the website registers that you have put in the card information before continuing. Once the order has been completed and submitted, we will transfer the value of your current certificate onto a new gift certificate that is specific to the new experience you have chosen, which will be emailed to you in PDF form. Please ensure you bring in your new gift certificate to the gift experience provider, as your old certificate will hold a balance of $0.
