Delve into romance with a four-course dinner for two at Southern Accent, where our passion for southern cuisine and hospitality offers the perfect opportunity for you to explore the accents of your own passion.
Cajun Romance.
Begin your Cajun-style romance with a shared appetizer plate of some of our most popular starters: hush puppies, piquant shrimp, blackened chicken livers and Cajun calamari, followed by mixed field green salads with balsamic soya vinaigrette. Then select your choice of entree: Bourbon Street blackened chicken, blackened/grilled fish of the day, blackened/grilled lamb, Creole jambalaya, cracker catfish, vegetarian entree of the day or the evening main course special. Round off your meal with your choice of dessert. Subject to availability at the time of booking, you may choose to dine in a romantic Cajun cabana. Southern Accent Restaurant is situated in a Victorian townhouse with cozy corners, private rooms, a swooping 1940’s bar and a covered front patio. Over the years we have perfected the sights, sounds and tastes of New Orleans with our spicy blend of Cajun, Creole and Soul cuisine, famous New Orleans’ cocktails, Zydeco and Louisiana music, funky decor as well as psychic readings.
While our menu changes weekly, certain basics never change, like the preference for organic ingredients and the insistence on fresh foods. Our warm hospitality, inviting staff and New Orleans’ atmosphere have established us as a unique dining destination and favourite location for parties of all kinds.
We are open for dinner nightly from Tuesday to Sunday at 5:30pm.
