This Flight is a life altering experience that enables you to feel the freedom of flight with a certified instructor by your side.

Your Life Experience with the Barrie Flying Club begins with a pre-flight briefing and safety check that will last about 10 - 15 minutes. During this time, your instructor will discuss the flight plan and will answer any questions you might have about planes and rules governing flying. Following the pre-flight briefing, plane check and safety check you will be ready to fly.
As a pilot-in-training you will be in the left seat and your instructor in the right seat. 
Your instructor will taxi the aircraft into position, while explaining all the procedures and the check list which he will go through.
After getting the OK from an ATC you are ready to go and the fun will begin!

You will be at the plane controls as soon as the plane is in level flight where you can stay in control of the aircraft if you wish, or your instructor can take over controls for a few minutes so that you are able to take some photo's to remind you of your flying experience.

After some 150 minutes, the instructor will take control of the plane for the landing (the most challenging part of flying!). Once safely back on the ground your instructor will carry out post flight checks. There will also be brief flight briefing. 150 minutes equals 150 minutes engine time.

As a bonus, this flying lesson actually counts towards your flying time, so in another 15 or so flight training hours you can fly by yourself. If you think that you can fly let's go and try.
